Lee Engineering was established in 1991, and started business as a sole trader, manufacturing meat hook rollers for refrigerated transport units and for the meat industry business. As business progressed this led to the expansion of our rented property and the furnishing of a fully equipped machine shop/light engineering fabrication workshop, which was originally a 1000 sq. ft. Now on the edge of Bagenalstown our factory covers over 12000 sq. ft. Our facilities include a 250 tonne fully cnc baykel pressbrake and a 3 metre x 13 mm guillotine, 3 metre x 13 mm cnc 4 roller plate rolling machine, 6metre x 2metre high definition cnc plasma cutting machine. These machines along with extra workspace allowed us to manufacture much larger fabricated items in the steel industry. A section of our new workshop is segregated, to allow us to fabricate stainless and aluminum products.
Lee Engineering also hold a C.E Certification class 2016 up to exc. class 3 and peninsula services certification. While offering these services to the steel industry also have full distribution including HGV transportation. We have over 26 people employed in our workforce. Our lifting capacity is 9 tonne.
